The three county area of South Central Public Power has an excellent infrastructure of paved roads to meet your transportation needs.

Highway 6, also known as the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Highway, is a major east-west highway of the United States from Provincetown, Mass. to Long Beach, Calif. Highway 6 traverses the northern part of Clay County, running through or near the towns of Harvard and Sutton. A Highway 6 Association exists to promote tourism along this national route.

Highway 14 is a Nebraska State Highway running north-south from South Dakota to Kansas. Highway 14 runs through the middle of Clay and Nuckolls County and through or near the towns of Clay Center, Fairfield, Edgar, Deweese, Lawrence, Nelson and Superior. A Highway 14 Association exists to promote tourism along this Highway 14 corridor.

Highway 136, is a Nebraska State Highway that has also been designated as a Nebraska Scenic Byway. It is located in the southern part of Nuckolls and Webster County. In South Central Nebraska it is also known as the Republican River Route as it travels through or near the towns of Ruskin, Nora, Superior, Guide Rock and Red Cloud, all communities near the Republican River. A Scenic Highway 136 Organization exists to promote tourism along this Highway 136 corridor.
